This isn’t a new piece but one that I remain very proud of and that I haven’t posted up many places so I felt the need to post it here as this is acting as a portfolio type spot for me. The quote used is attributed to Buddha (it reads: Decay is inherent in all compounded things), speaking to the concept that all things fall apart it is an inevitable truth to the world. I wanted to bring to the front the idea that there is beauty even in these “decaying” things and that beauty can be, and is, found in even the most unlikely of places. For example the photo taken of the dead bird used and the dying flowers, it is not the traditional “beauty” people speak on but something that has its own natural beauty in a very different but still very valid way.
